Sania L. Covert, 72 of Toledo, OH, went to be with her Lord on Monday, July 25, 2016, at Ebeid Hospice Residence. Born January 13, 1944, in Harlan, KY, she was the daughter of Wiley and Jennie (Thomas) Hornsby. She was employed by Frostbite Brands, Inc in Toledo for 17 years, retiring in 2001. Sania was an active member of Heritage Baptist Church in Toledo, where she had worked in the nursery for several years. She enjoyed cleaning, cooking and helping people.
She is survived by her loving son, Sean; brothers, Palmer (Pat) and Frank Hornsby, special little girl, Bailey Yost and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Joseph Hornsby and sisters, Charlene Marcum and Della Tackett.
Visitation will be from 4-8 pm, Thursday, July 28, 2016, at Heritage Baptist Church, 5543 Lewis Avenue, Toledo, OH 43612, where funeral services will be held Friday, July 29, 2016, at 10:00 am. Pastor Daniel Ellis, officiating. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, OH. Memorials may be made to the church. Arrangements by Michael W.
